Western Hills Baseball Honors Former Principal Alumni Day.

FORT WORTH, TX – Western Hills High School is set to honor the lasting legacy of James “Jamie” Wellman with the 2nd Annual James Wellman Alumni Day on May 17th at 11:30 AM.

Mr. Wellman, who moved to Fort Worth in 1998, dedicated over a decade to the Western Hills community, serving as assistant principal in 2005 before becoming principal in 2009. Known for his unwavering dedication to students, faculty, and coaches, he fostered a positive and productive school environment until his passing in 2017.

Alumni Day Event Details:

⚾ Home Run Derby – $2 per out
⚾ Alumni Game – $20 entry

Proceeds from the event will support the Western Hills baseball program, with 10% allocated to a scholarship fund that helps a deserving Hills Baseball graduate pursue their dreams—continuing Mr. Wellman’s legacy of mentorship and encouragement.

Donations are welcome for both the baseball program and the scholarship fund.
