A hole-in-one is the kind of golf shot most players spend years chasing, and this week, two golfers at Benbrook Par 3 Golf Course managed to do exactly that.
Anthony Whipps recently recorded an ace at the course, earning congratulations from staff and fellow golfers alike.
Not long after, longtime customer and friend of the course Josh Harville also joined the club with a hole-in-one of his own.
Course staff noted just how rare the accomplishment really is, especially given that two happened so close together. According to the course, they have been tracking hole-in-ones since 1995, making each new addition to the list a memorable moment for players and employees alike.
For golfers, a hole-in-one is equal parts skill, precision, and luck, which is part of why the achievement still creates excitement no matter how long someone has been playing the game.
