Trash and Recycling Delay Hits Two Benbrook Neighborhoods.

Benbrook residents in the Hills of Whitestone and Winchester Estates received a late-day heads-up on November 26 after Republic Services reported a truck malfunction that interrupted scheduled trash and recycling pickup.

The issue surfaced shortly before 5 p.m., leaving some households with full carts still waiting at the curb.

The company has assured the city that any missed pickups will be handled first thing Friday morning, November 28. While the delay is inconvenient, officials say crews will move quickly to get both neighborhoods back on schedule.
