Growth continues just south of Benbrook, where several master-planned communities—Ventana, Bella neighborhoods, Steve Hawkins developments, and Maverick Golf and Ranch Club— are reshaping the area.
The latest addition is Bluejack Ranch, a 914-acre luxury, gated community in Aledo that is expected to open this fall.
Led by professional golfer JJ Henry and Bluejack National, the development will include about 500 homes, multiple golf courses, and an 18-hole championship course designed by Tiger Woods’ TGR Design.
Plans also call for horse stables, an equestrian arena, a 20-acre working dude ranch, a spa and wellness center, a family entertainment venue, and a golf performance center. Developers estimate the project could be worth $2.5 billion when complete.
Tiger Woods is expected to attend Bluejack Ranch’s grand opening in November. In a promotional video released in June, Woods said he wanted to create a course that could be enjoyed by golfers of all generations.
