TCU to Cover Full Tuition and Housing for Eligible Texas Students.

Starting fall 2026, Texas Christian University will open its doors wider to low-income families through the new TCU for Texans program.

The initiative will fully cover tuition, housing, and meals for incoming Texas freshmen whose families earn $70,000 or less in adjusted gross income, provided they qualify for Pell Grants and meet the November 1, 2025 application deadline.

The support is renewable each year based on financial need, making a TCU education more accessible to students who might have thought it was financially out of reach. With tuition set at $63,500 and room and board at $18,020, this program could be life-changing for many Texas families.

TCU joins Rice, Texas A&M, and Baylor in offering full aid packages to qualifying in-state students, helping ensure that cost is no longer a barrier to earning a degree from one of the state’s top universities.
