This Friday morning, the skies over Benbrook might be calm, but inside the public library, kids will be caught up in the thrilling world of storm chasing.
At 10:30 AM, Chelsea Burnett from Texas Storm Chasers will bring the excitement of wild weather straight to the heart of Benbrook with a hands-on, kid-friendly Storm Science program. Aimed at children ages 2 to 10, this special session will feature real photos, action-packed videos, and live demonstrations that break down how storms form, move, and impact the world around us.
It’s the perfect blend of science, storytelling, and jaw-dropping visuals, all designed to spark curiosity and maybe even inspire the next generation of meteorologists.
