With graduation around the corner and summer in sight, Benbrook is starting to feel that familiar shift where one season ends and another begins.
On a single day, the community saw it all. Earlier, the girls’ flag football playoffs brought energy to Farrington Field.
By evening, Benbrook Middle-High School was buzzing in every direction. Inside, the middle school spring band concert filled the auditorium with music.
Outside, Bobcat Stadium turned into a hub of competition as Benbrook hosted the West Metro 7-on-7 and Lineman Challenge league play.
Teams from Stephenville, Brock, and Godley joined the action, giving fans an early look at the kind of competition waiting this fall. Head coach Cody Slater noted the intensity of the night and the players’ effort, pointing to a group that continues to grow.
It’s nights like this that offer a preview of what is ahead. As spring winds down and summer programs ramp up, the foundation for next season is already taking shape.
