Westpark’s open house turned into more than a walk-through of student projects. It became a hands-on night that filled the gym with energy and curiosity.
The Perot Museum team brought interactive science exhibits to campus, giving students a chance to explore, experiment, and learn in real time. Across the room, the Boys & Girls Club Mobile Clubhouse team kept activities running smoothly, helping maintain a steady flow that kept families engaged throughout the evening.
With support from both groups, parents were able to spend time taking in student work while kids moved between stations, asking questions and trying things out for themselves.
School leaders say the night came together because of that collaboration, turning a typical open house into something students and families will remember.
