Salmark BBQ Opening Just Down 377.

A familiar name on the local food truck and catering scene is putting down roots just a short drive from Benbrook.

Salmark BBQ will celebrate the grand opening of its new brick-and-mortar restaurant Saturday, Oct. 10, at 14330 Highway 377 South in Fort Worth, just beyond FM 1187.

Owners Glen and Ashley McDougal have been serving barbecue from their food truck and through catering for years. Before the restaurant opens, Benbrook residents can catch McDougal and the Salmark BBQ food truck Sunday at the Benbrook Farmers Market.

The new restaurant plans to open at 11 a.m. and serve until 7 p.m. or sold out, with hours subject to available supply.

So if you have passed Salmark’s food truck around town and wondered when there might be a permanent place to grab a plate, Oct. 10 is the date.
