Some heroes in Benbrook start their day before the sun comes up, and Rolling Hills Elementary took time this week to celebrate one of theirs.
Samuel Ramsey, a longtime bus driver with Fort Worth Independent School District, was surprised with a Best Bus Driver t-shirt from the Rolling Hills community.
Ramsey has served FWISD for eight years and has been the steady presence behind the wheel for Rolling Hills students since the school opened in late 2023.
Families and staff say Ramsey does far more than drive a route. He knows students by name, looks out for their safety, and brings consistency and care to every morning and afternoon pickup. For many kids, he is the first friendly face they see each school day.
