Ridge Fitness Summer Bootcamp Helps Kids Stay Active This Summer.

If your kids have energy to spare this summer, Ridge Fitness may have the answer.

The local gym is offering its Summer Bootcamp program for children ages 8 and up, providing a structured way for kids to stay active, build confidence, and have fun during the school break.

Held on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, the program focuses on more than just exercise. Participants work on muscle strengthening, aerobic fitness, flexibility, coordination, teamwork, and other foundational skills through group-based activities and training sessions.

The bootcamp is divided into age groups and keeps class sizes small, with a maximum of 10 participants per group. Snacks and drinks are provided, and parents can also use the gym during their child’s session.

For many families, summer can mean balancing screen time with opportunities to stay active. Programs like this offer kids a chance to move, make friends, and develop healthy habits in a supportive environment.

Sometimes the best cure for summer boredom is simply giving kids a place to run, move, and challenge themselves.
