A recent conversation among Benbrook residents sparked a wave of nostalgia over the outdoor metal art stand many locals remember from the area. One resident simply asked what happened to “the outdoor metal art guy,” and the replies quickly followed, noting Bob’s absence and his creations.
It’s believed that the business originally operated out of Granbury, which has led residents to track down the location and is already planning a visit.
For longtime locals, the roadside displays became one of those familiar stops people casually noticed, talked about, and eventually realized they missed once it was gone.
