BENBROOK, TX — A packed meeting at Benbrook United Methodist Church brought neighbors together to discuss a proposed data center near the west edge of Fort Worth.
The project, planned near Interstate 20 and Chapin School Road, is raising concerns about energy demand, infrastructure, and potential environmental impact. Similar conversations are already happening in other parts of the city where large data centers are in development.
Residents from nearby neighborhoods are beginning to organize and plan next steps, including speaking at the Fort Worth City Council meeting on March 31.
Interest continues to grow as more people look for clarity and a voice in how the project moves forward.
