Redemption City Church is hosting a Saturday afternoon of food, games, and neighborhood fun next month.
The church will host a free Community Block Party on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring food, bounce houses, games, music, and other family activities. The event will happen rain or shine and is open to the community.
Redemption City is also looking for volunteers to help pull it all together. Opportunities include setup and cleanup, parking, serving food, face painting, welcoming guests, helping with the photo booth, staffing the prayer tent, and sharing information from the church’s food bank. Spanish-speaking volunteers are especially needed in a couple of areas.
