Redemption City Church is inviting Benbrook and southwest Fort Worth residents to roll up their sleeves and serve at its monthly Food Bank on Saturday, November 8, from 10 a.m. to noon at 7350 Granbury Rd., Fort Worth, TX 76123.
The outreach runs in two parts. On Food Packing and Organizing Day, volunteers help sort pantry items, check expiration dates, and prepack boxes so families can be served quickly on Distribution Day.
On Distribution Day, helpers are needed to greet, manage traffic flow, register guests, carry boxes, and pray for guests. It is a simple way to put faith into action and make sure local households do not go without.
Families can serve together. Children 8 and older may help on packing days with a parent present. Children 12 and older may help on distribution days.
