Benbrook, hold onto those ball caps—baseball and softball action is officially on pause. All Benbrook Youth Baseball and Softball (BYBSA) fields are closed tonight, and tomorrow’s games have been canceled due to field conditions.
It’s a tough break for players and fans ready to take the field, but BYBSA is already working to get makeup dates posted as soon as possible. While the charm of real grass fields runs deep, days like this have many locals hoping for future turf upgrades to keep the game going, rain or shine.
