If you’ve got a Pre-K or Kindergarten student heading to Westpark Elementary this year, mark your calendar for a sweet start to the school year.
On Saturday, August 9 at 9:00 AM, families are invited to Rolling Hills Park for “Popsicles in the Park,” a casual meetup that gives new students (and their parents) a chance to meet classmates, connect with other families, and ease into the school year with a treat in hand.
It’s a simple idea that goes a long way, because sometimes a popsicle and a friendly smile are all it takes to make that first day a little less scary.
