One of Benbrook Elementary’s favorite holiday traditions is back, bringing a lot of cheer with it.
The Penguin Patch Holiday Shop opens December 15 through December 18 in Room 33, giving students a chance to shop for small gifts while supporting the Benbrook Bulldogs PTA.
The shop will be open Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon, with a special Monday evening session from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. during Merry Little Storytime with Mrs. Claus. Shopping packets and instructions will be sent home with students by Friday, December 12. All proceeds benefit the Benbrook Bulldogs PTA.
To make it all happen, the PTA is seeking volunteers. Duties include assisting students as they shop, organizing merchandise, and helping at checkout. Even an hour makes a big difference, and volunteers help turn it into a memorable experience for kids.
