Lennon was known for his integrity, compassion, and calm presence. Soft spoken but sharp-minded, he had a natural gift with numbers and was especially fond of a good game of dominoes. He loved the outdoors and valued time with family and friends, but nothing meant more to him than his grandchildren, whom his family described as his greatest joy.
A lifelong member of Avery Methodist Church, Lennon faithfully served his congregation on the Board of Trustees, providing steady leadership and commitment over the years.
