BENBROOK, TX – The Benbrook community is honoring the life and legacy of Peter Kau, who passed away on September 10, 2025, at the age of 80.
Kau was known not only for his warm presence but also for his deep commitment to civic and veterans’ organizations. Over the years, he served actively with American Legion Post 297, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10429, the Cory of Benbrook, the Benbrook Area Chamber of Commerce, the Compassionate Friends, and the Gunner Association. His tireless service touched countless lives and left a lasting mark on Benbrook’s civic and veteran communities.
He is survived by his wife, Tessie, along with a wide circle of family, friends, and fellow members of the organizations he proudly served.
