BENBROOK, TX — Mary Louise McMahan, born Mary Weatherred, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025, at the age of 95. She leaves behind a life marked by deep faith, curiosity, and a love for seeing the world.
Mary’s passion for travel took her across all 50 U.S. states, as well as to England and the Galapagos Islands. Those journeys reflected her lifelong sense of wonder and appreciation for God’s creation. A devoted, lifelong member of the Methodist Church, Mary spent her later years immersed in Bible study, continuing to grow in faith and reflection.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army of Tarrant County or the First United Methodist Church of Commerce.
