BENBROOK, TX — Febe Wright Nixon, a cherished member of the Benbrook community, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025, at the age of 87 in Fort Worth. Known for her quiet strength, deep faith, and unwavering love for her family, Febe left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
A longtime resident of Benbrook, Febe was deeply involved in her church and community. Her kindness, gentle spirit, and devotion to those she loved made her a trusted friend and faithful presence to many.
To honor her life, a family gathering is planned for Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Benbrook United Methodist Church, located at 1122 Bryant Street.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to Volunteers of America Southeast Louisiana, an organization close to Febe’s heart. It’s also the same organization through which Jody and Jeff were lovingly adopted. Contributions can be made at www.voasela.org.
