BENBROOK, TX—The Benbrook community remembers Douglas Roy Peters, a devoted protector and people-loving soul, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont.
At 76 years old, Doug’s legacy is one of kindness, connection, and unwavering care for those around him—he never met a stranger and always put others first.
His cremation arrangements were entrusted to Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s Funeral Home in Beaumont.
