A question that has lingered for years in Benbrook has finally been answered.
The city’s new splash pad at City Hall is now open to the public, thanks in part to longtime resident Emily Moore, who recently shared the update and photos with neighbors online. For families who have watched other cities add water features, this one feels close to home.
The splash pad sits near Winscott Road, roughly 70 feet from the street, and offers a smaller-scale version of the popular water feature at Sundance Square in downtown Fort Worth. While not nearly as large, it conveys the same idea: a simple, walk-up space where kids can cool off without needing a full pool.
With warmer days ahead, the timing could not be better. Instead of asking whether Benbrook would ever get a splash pad, families can now pack a towel and head to City Hall.

As summer approaches, it’s another reason for local families to stay and play right here in Benbrook.
