A serious crash halted traffic along westbound Interstate 20 near the Winscott exit just after 3:00 p.m. today, leaving lanes closed for several hours as crews worked the scene.
According to early reports, a vehicle traveling eastbound lost control, rolled over, and crossed into westbound lanes, where it collided with at least two other vehicles. The impact triggered a multi-vehicle crash that brought traffic to a standstill in the westbound lanes.
Emergency responders arrived quickly, and cleanup efforts remain ongoing. Despite the severity of the crash, no major injuries have been reported at this time.
