What started as a simple community event turned into one of the season’s biggest turnouts at the Benbrook Par 3 Golf Course.
The Easter Bunny Trail, held April 3, drew more than 600 attendees, according to organizers, with at least 500 confirmed through YMCA check-ins and many more joining throughout the day. Families filled the course, creating a steady flow of kids, parents, and neighbors enjoying the spring event together.
The day came together through a strong local partnership. The YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth helped organize the event, while the Benbrook Veterans of Foreign Wars kept attendees fed. Support also came from Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, a familiar favorite for many families in the area.
Organizers shared additional photos from the event online at https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1AjndVJKjF/.
After a turnout like this, there is little question that the Bunny Trail has become a fixture on the local calendar. Plans are already in place to bring it back next year.
