Mini Cheer Camp Aims to Lift Local Team to Nationals.

Families in the Benbrook area have a chance to support a local cheer team while giving young athletes a fun afternoon of learning new skills.

The Storm Pro cheer team is hosting a mini cheer camp on April 18 from 1 to 3 pm at Uplift Elevate, located at 10800 Chapin Road in Fort Worth. The camp is open to athletes ages 5 through 17 and costs $40 per participant.

During the camp, participants will learn cheer jumps and basic stunts, work through a short routine, and finish the afternoon with a small showcase for friends and family. Pre-registered athletes will also receive a camp T-shirt, a snack, and a few hours focused on teamwork and fun.

The event also serves a bigger purpose. Proceeds from the camp will help the Storm Pro team travel to compete at nationals in Indiana later this season.

Space is limited, and organizers encourage early registration. Participants who pre-register by April 1 are guaranteed a camp T-shirt.
