BENBROOK, TX — A game-changing development is officially in motion just south of town, and it’s turning heads on HWY 377.

The highly anticipated Maverick Golf & Ranch Club (MGRC)—a 1,100-acre, multi-million-dollar gated luxury community—is clearing land, grading sites, and connecting utilities as it begins to take shape near Benbrook Lake and Whitestone Golf Club.

Led by the prestigious Discovery Land Company, MGRC promises a blend of rugged Texas charm and refined, resort-style living. The private residential community will feature three golf courses designed by the legendary Tom Fazio, including an 18-hole championship course, a 12-hole short course, and a 9-hole Par 3 layout.

As of April 2025, land clearing is in full swing, a third of the home sites are being prepped, and early vertical construction is expected by 2026.
