Parents of fourth to sixth graders in Benbrook looking to ease their child’s math struggles can take advantage of Fraction Action, a weekly workshop designed to make fractions more manageable.
Hosted by The Pierce Institute at Cityview Centre, these interactive sessions will run every Wednesday and Friday from 4:00 to 5:00 PM, starting March 5 and continuing through April.
The workshops cover essential fraction skills, including reducing fractions, finding common denominators, working with mixed numbers and improper fractions, and converting fractions to decimals and percentages. Each session is tailored to the students’ needs, offering a hands-on approach to tackling homework and building confidence.
For the best results, regular attendance is encouraged, with a five-class package available for $100. Drop-ins are also welcome at $25 per session.
