A new community tradition begins tonight as Benbrook hosts its first-ever Mahjong social at Benbrook Tea & Wellness.
The gathering takes place Tuesday, Aug. 4, from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m., welcoming players of all experience levels for an evening of games, conversation, and new friendships.
Organizers say the response has already exceeded expectations and are encouraging everyone to come as they are.
“This isn’t a bougie group,” organizer Carrie shared. “Work clothes, sweats, a bowtie, whatever. You’ll always be welcome.”
Because space is limited, attendees are encouraged to RSVP in advance. Those interested can also leave their email address to receive updates about future Mahjong nights and locations.
