A gathering centered around mahjong, tea, and community support will soon bring people together for a cause that has touched many families.
Mahjong and High Tea is scheduled for Sunday, March 15, from 1:30 to 4:30 pm at Up the Vine Studios in Weatherford, located at 1404 South Main Street. The event benefits the Moms and Dads in the Making Grow Fund, which helps couples pursuing paths to grow their families.
The event features mahjong gameplay, high tea refreshments, table prizes, raffles, welcome gifts, and exclusive merchandise related to the Moms in the Making ministry. VIP tables and individual tickets are available for those who want to participate.
The story behind the event has local roots. The Moms in the Making infertility support group first began meeting in a small living room in Benbrook. Over time, the group has expanded, supporting families across a much wider community. One local leader involved in the program even received help through the Grow Fund in 2024 and now helps guide others walking the same journey.
Organizers say the afternoon is designed to bring people together around a shared purpose while enjoying a relaxed social event built around the popular tile game.
