The scores were low, the contests were plenty, and another weekly scramble is in the books at Benbrook Par 3 Golf Course.
Tucker took home the win in the kids’ chipping contest, while Jeremy won the regular chipping contest for the first time in a couple of years. The evening also included first-, second-, and third-place scramble finishers, plus Meranda taking the win in what the course affectionately calls the “losers game.”
Six weekly games remain before the course takes its winter break, and a couple of twists are still coming. One scramble will be played glow-in-the-dark, while the season finale will be a three-club challenge, with the putter counting as one of the three.
And after plenty of triple-digit Texas heat, next week may bring another welcome change: cooler weather.
