Lights, cameras return to Benbrook as Paramount films new series.

Keep an eye out this week because you never know who you might spot around Benbrook.

Production has returned to the area as Paramount+ continues filming Frisco King, the upcoming Tulsa King spinoff starring Samuel L. Jackson as hitman Russell Lee Washington Jr. The cast also includes Asa Germann, Kai Caster, Lilah Pate, and Savanna Gann.

As part of the production, Paramount+ and Fort Worth ISD reached an agreement to use the Benbrook Middle-High School parking lot as a base camp during the first part of the week. Filming is expected to take place at several locations around Benbrook, including the area near the corner of Vernon Castle Avenue and Benbrook Terrace, behind Jersey Mike’s.

With summer strength and conditioning workouts and sports camps underway, parents were notified of the activity through the SportsYou app by Benbrook Middle-High School Co-Athletic Coordinator and Head Football Coach Cody Slater.

Expect to see production crews in parts of town this week, and don’t be surprised if a familiar face shows up while you’re out and about.
