Lake Shore Drive Low Water Crossing Closed Until 2026.

Benbrook drivers who use the Dutch Branch Creek low water crossing on Lake Shore Drive will need a new route this fall and early winter.

The crossing will close from October 6, 2025 through January 6, 2026 for maintenance while crews replace a culvert.

Plan extra time, watch for posted detours, and use nearby streets to navigate around the work zone. The closure sits near popular park and school routes, so mornings and late afternoons may be busier than usual.
