Fort Worth, TX — The Western Hills Lady Cougars bounced back in a big way, delivering a commanding 15-0 shutout win over the Eastern Hills Lady Highlanders.
After a tough 17-4 loss to Mansfield Summit, the Lady Cougars came out swinging, showcasing both offensive firepower and pitching dominance.
Addi Dudley was unstoppable on the mound, pitching a no-hitter with 7 strikeouts. Offensively, the team was on fire:
- Isabela Gonzales: 2-for-2 with 2 triples, 4 RBIs, and 3 runs.
- Raquel Pena: 1-for-2 with 2 RBIs and 2 runs.
- Taylor Torres: 4 walks, 4 stolen bases, and 3 runs.
- Addi Dudley: 2-for-3 with 1 RBI and 1 run.
- Leslie Bustamante: 2-for-3 with 1 RBI and 1 run.
The Lady Cougars are now 3-5 overall and 1-0 in district play. Up next, they face their cross-town rivals, the Benbrook Lady Bobcats, tomorrow night at 6 p.m.
