The Lady Cougars basketball squad is making headlines with standout performances in the 2025 District 8-4A All-District honors!
Freshman sensation Samantha Jupiter made an immediate impact, earning Newcomer of the Year, while senior star AnJell Smith secured a First Team All-District selection. Shamiya James added to the team’s success with a Second Team All-District nod.
Honorable Mention recognitions went to Brayla Brooks, Avery Burns, Ta’Niyah Clemons, and Isabela Gonzales, showcasing the depth of talent on this squad.
The Lady Cougars also dominated in the classroom, with six players named to the Academic All-District team, proving they’re just as sharp off the court.
