Benbrook did not have to wait long to get back in the win column.
After being swept Friday by an undefeated Southwest team, the Lady Bobcats went on the road Tuesday and answered with a straight-set win over Diamond Hill-Jarvis, completing their second sweep of the Lady Eagles this season.
Benbrook controlled the opening set from the start, cruising to a 25-10 win. Diamond Hill-Jarvis made the second much tighter, trading points with the Lady Bobcats before Benbrook pulled away for a 25-19 victory.
The Lady Bobcats closed the door in the third. A strong team effort carried Benbrook to a 25-15 win, completing the sweep and improving the Bobcats to 21-14 overall and 7-2 in district play, currently in second place.
Benbrook returns home Thursday, Oct. 8, to host Carter-Riverside, another district opponent the Lady Bobcats swept earlier this season.
