The regular season is behind them. The postseason begins tonight.
The Benbrook Lady Bobcats are headed into the bi-district round of the 4A Division 2026 II UIL Texas Girls Basketball State Championships tonight with a first-round matchup against the Krum Lady Bobcats.
Both teams arrive with momentum.
Krum enters at 19-16 overall and 8-6 in district play, finishing fourth in its district. Benbrook comes in at 12-19 overall but a strong 8-4 in district, earning a second-place finish.
Both teams closed out the regular season with wins, setting up what should be a competitive matchup with everything on the line.
Tipoff is at 6 pm at Hartnett Arena inside Nolan Catholic High School, 4501 Bridge St, Fort Worth, TX 76103.
Fans planning to attend should be aware of a facility update shared by Nolan Catholic’s Athletic Department. Due to a plumbing issue in the main gym, restrooms inside the arena will not be available. Spectators and athletes will need to use restrooms located in an adjacent building. The arena itself is unaffected, and the game will proceed as scheduled. The walk is reported to be short and ADA-compliant, but attendees are encouraged to plan accordingly.
Tickets are available online at Hometown Ticketing. General admission is $5, with students and senior citizens admitted for $3. Playoff games can fill quickly, so purchasing in advance is recommended.

Tonight gives the Benbrook Lady Bobcats another opportunity to represent their community under the bright lights. The regular season no longer matters. It is win and move on.
