Lady Bobcats Extend Win Streak With Statement Victory.

The Benbrook Lady Bobcats kept their momentum rolling Thursday night, turning a close December loss into a convincing district win.

Entering the matchup on a three-game win streak, the Lady Bobcats made it four in a row with a 57-42 victory over the Southwest Lady Raiders. The win carried extra weight after Benbrook dropped a tight 53 to 51 decision to Southwest earlier in the season.

This time, the Lady Bobcats controlled the pace and never let the game slip, showing growth on both ends of the floor. The result handed Southwest its latest setback, as the Lady Raiders now sit at 10-17 overall, 6-2 in district play, and second in the district standings.

More district action is right around the corner. The Lady Bobcats are scheduled to face crosstown rival Western Hills Lady Cougars on Tuesday at 7:30 pm, weather permitting.

If conditions allow, it sets the stage for a heated rivalry matchup as the Lady Bobcats look to keep their streak alive and continue climbing the district ladder.
