The Benbrook Lady Bobcats volleyball team showed plenty of grit this weekend, turning an early setback into an unforgettable tournament performance.

After dropping their first match on Saturday, the Lady Bobcats refused to let the day end there. They battled through six straight wins to fight their way back into the championship match, playing an incredible eight matches in a single day.

Running low on energy but never on determination, the team showcased the resilience and heart that has become a hallmark of Bobcat athletics.

Now, the focus shifts to the regular season. The Lady Bobcats will open their 2026 campaign on the second day of school, giving fans an early chance to cheer on a team that’s already proven it won’t back down from a challenge.
