The Benbrook Lady Bobcats stayed composed early and took full control after halftime Thursday night, cruising to a 3 to 0 win over the Mineral Wells Rams.
Mineral Wells kept pace through the first half, but Benbrook’s defense tightened up coming out of the break, and the goals soon followed. It marked the second straight match the Lady Bobcats have won by a three-goal margin, continuing a strong stretch on both ends of the field.
The victory improves Benbrook’s record to 3-1 on the season. Over their last two matches, the Lady Bobcats have scored seven goals while keeping opponents off the scoreboard.
Benbrook heads back on the road Saturday morning to face Azle at 9:30 am, looking to keep the momentum going.
