Helm Leads Lady Bobcats at Prowl in the Park.

While Owen Atkins led the Benbrook boys Thursday morning, Molly Helm set the pace for the Lady Bobcats in the girls’ 3200 at Prowl in the Park.

Helm finished eighth overall in 15:42.93, leading a Benbrook group that placed five runners inside the top 20.

Madison Norman followed in 11th at 16:44.72, with Heidi Gonzalez 14th at 17:35.12, Eleanor Vazquez 15th at 17:48.92, and Trinity Tiner 17th at 18:14.25.

Gemma Lackey crossed in 19th at 18:31.00, followed closely by Eve Carnegie in 20th at 18:33.10. Maggie Plummer finished 23rd in 19:34.10, Lillian Hatter placed 25th in 21:02.96, and Anamaria Ortiz rounded out the Lady Bobcats in 26th.

From Helm at the front to Ortiz bringing the Benbrook group home, the Lady Bobcats delivered a full-team effort on the course.
