Free Summer Conditioning Camp Returns for Young Athletes.

For many kids, summer means sleeping in. For others, it’s a chance to sharpen their skills, make new friends, and get ready for the season ahead.

The White Settlement Youth Football Association is inviting children ages 4 to 14 to participate in its free summer conditioning camp, held every Wednesday from June 10 through July 8 at Brewer High School.

Open to current Cubs, former Cubs, future Cubs, and first-time participants, the camp focuses on skill development, fitness, and confidence building in a fun and welcoming environment. Athletes interested in football will work on catching, ball-carrying, footwork, speed, agility, route-running, and other fundamentals. Cheer participants will focus on conditioning, flexibility, jump technique, teamwork, leadership, and sideline cheer skills.

Organizers say the camp is also a great opportunity for families considering youth football or cheer who want to learn more before committing to a season.

In addition to training sessions, participants and parents will have the chance to meet the program’s 2026 football and cheer coaches and learn more about the upcoming season. Football registration remains open.

The camp runs from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. each Wednesday at Brewer High School, located at 1025 W. Loop 820 North in Fort Worth. Participants are encouraged to bring water and wear cleats, running shoes, or other athletic footwear.

For local families looking for an active, affordable way to keep kids engaged this summer, it’s hard to beat free.
