BENBROOK, TX — As the next school year approaches, local student-athletes have an important box to check before they can step back onto the field or court.
Fort Worth ISD is offering free athletic physicals for incoming 9th-12th-grade students, providing families with an easy, accessible way to meet participation requirements for the 2026–2027 school year.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, at Wilkerson-Greines Activity Center. While campus report times will be shared at a later date, transportation will be provided to help students attend.
For many families, this annual requirement can be one more thing to coordinate. Offering it at no cost, with transportation included, removes a barrier and helps ensure more students are ready to participate when the season begins.
