A resident off Bear Creek Drive in Benbrook woke up Saturday to discover her purse had been stolen during the early morning hours, sometime between 4 and 4:30 a.m.
Surveillance footage from nearby cameras shows figures ducking between vehicles and even opening the door to her husband’s truck.
The stolen purse was later found ditched near the entrance to Benbrook Lake. Unfortunately, the cash and car keys were missing. The incident has been reported to both Benbrook Police and the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office.
Neighbors are urged to review their security footage and report any suspicious activity from that morning.
