Caring for someone experiencing memory loss can leave families with plenty of questions, especially as needs begin to change.
Stevenson Oaks Retirement Community is hosting Care With Confidence, an educational session designed to help families better understand dementia’s progression and learn practical, compassionate ways to support someone they love.
The program is set for Friday, Sept. 18, at 10:30 a.m. and will feature Beth Nolan, Ph.D., a member of Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care team.
The session will be held in the Stockyards Room at Stevenson Oaks, 6251 Stevenson Oaks Drive in Fort Worth, just a few minutes from Benbrook. The main entrance is off Bryant Irvin Road.

Stevenson Oaks will also host a Fall Prevention Event on Oct. 21 at 3 p.m., giving families another opportunity to learn about programs that support strength, independence, and well-being.
