As Defender Outdoors Clay Sports Ranch marks its eighth year on Aledo Road, the team is looking ahead to a major expansion planned for mid-summer.
Growth fueled by steady community support has led the popular shotgun sports destination to secure a new property that offers more space while remaining convenient for shooters across North Texas.
The move will not disrupt the 2026 Texas State Sporting Clays Championship, which will still take place at the current location.
After that, the transition begins toward a new site just off Chisholm Trail Parkway, south of Fort Worth, making access easy while opening the door to long-term growth.
The upcoming facility is being designed to include everything shooters have asked for over the years, from expanded shooting options to a reimagined event space built on lessons learned from hosting more than 1,000 events.
Organizers say the goal is a destination that better serves individuals, families, and large groups alike.
