Riding high after a thrilling 1-0 victory over the Benbrook Bobcats, the Western Hills Cougars took the field Friday night looking for another win against the Carter-Riverside Eagles.
Both teams found the back of the net twice, and when the final whistle blew, the scoreboard read 2-2, leaving the Cougars with a draw. This tie puts Western Hills at 4-4-2 for the season, 3-1 in district play, and 2nd in the district standings.
The Cougars now turn their focus to their next challenge: today, at 8:00 p.m., they will face the Dunbar Wildcats on the road.
