Cougar Soccer Roars to First Win With Statement Opener in Tourney Action.

The season officially turned a corner last night for the Western Hills Cougars.

In their tournament opener, the Cougars delivered a complete performance, locking things down defensively and pouring in goals to earn a convincing 6-1 win over Collegiate Academy at TCC Northeast. From the opening whistle, the Cougars controlled the pace, shutting down chances on one end and striking repeatedly on the other.

The result marked the Cougars’ first win of the season and a confidence boost as tournament play continues.

Western Hills will be right back on the field in a few hours, taking on Burkburnett at 10:45 am with momentum firmly on their side.
