The Benbrook Lady Bobcats are doing more than winning at the Brewer Bear Cave Classic. They are making history while doing it.
Benbrook opened tournament play with a strong 2–0 start, but Friday night brought a moment that will be remembered long after the final whistle.
In the matchup against Trimble Tech, senior standout Sydney Chavez delivered a milestone performance, scoring her 89th career goal and then pushing past it with number 90, cementing her place in the program’s record books as the Lady Bobcats’ all-time leading scorer.
